Student’s dress and personal
appearance shall not disrupt or detract from the educational
environment of the school. Any style which tends to diminish
the instructional effectiveness and efficiency or discipline
control by the teachers will not be accepted.
The following dress code guidelines are to be followed
by students attending the Las Vegas Gakuen:

1. |
Shoes with soles are to be worn at all times. No
slippers or flip-flops. |
2. |
Shirts or blouses appropriately buttoned in accordance with
the design of that shirt or blouse are allowed. The length
must extend below the belt level. |
3. |
All shorts, skirts, and dresses are to be at fingertip length.
If shorts are worn, they must be hemmed and without fraying. |
4. |
Transparent, see-through tops, bare midriff, strapless,
low-cut clothing, clothing with slits, or tops and outfits
that provide minimum coverage are not allowed. |
5. |
Headgear is not allowed on campus except for designated
school approved uniforms at authorized athletic practice
or activities. |
6. |
No slogans or advertising on clothing which by their controversial
or obscene nature disrupt the educational setting. No spiked
or studded clothing. |
7. |
Spaghetti straps are not allowed. All sleeveless
shirts must have straps at least three inches wide and cover
the shoulder. |
8. |
Coats, hats, mittens, and scarves must be removed upon entering
the classrooms. |
9. |
Any clothing that contains gang signs, slogans, logos, or
symbols is not allowed on campus. |
10. |
Any clothing that advertises alcoholic beverages, tobacco
products, or displays their symbols is not allowed
on campus. |
11. |
Studded accessories or chains are not allowed. |
12. |
Clothing that bears any sexual symbols or inappropriate
language is not allowed. |
13. |
The wearing of make-up is not allowed. |
14. |
Hair color should be natural color. |
15. |
Heeleys or spike shoes are not allowed. |
